Fibroblast Growth Medium 2 is a low-serum medium and has been developed for the in vitro cultivation of adult human fibroblasts.
Although all media are optimized for use with primary human cells, there is received feedback from customers that this particular medium can also be used for bovine, porcine, and rat fibroblasts, as well as fibroblast cell lines. Note: The Basal Medium is manufactured with 0.5% serum. After the addition of media supplements the final serum concentration of the growth medium is 2.5 % (V/V).
